Call for Trainers
We invite trainers to submit proposals on topics on current interest in HIV/AIDS and International Health that will assist draw a significant number of attendees for our training programmes. Proposal should include:
  • Title
  • Goals
  • Name of Speaker
  • Length of tutorial (Half/full day)
  • Bio data of trainer including contact information
  • Outline tutorial content
  • Activities to be carried in the tutorial

Tutorial proposal should be submitted in PDF. For information or to submit a tutorial proposal, email Dr A Yaro (for Update in HIV/AIDS) at abubakar@africannpro.net or Marjorie A Asante (for International Health) at Marjorie@atmph.org.

Important dates:

  • Deadline for tutorial proposal (July)
  • Acceptance of Notification (August)
  • Deadline for final version (September)

AAIMS to partner AHRO

Afro-Asian Institute of Medical Sciences (AAIMS) based in Lahore Pakistan is to partner the Africa Health Research Organization towards achieving its set objective regarding its training programmes. As part of the partnership, AAIMS will assist AHRO organize series of courses in ultrasound and radiology for health professions in Africa.

In another relationship, the Director of AAIMS, Professor Syed Amir Gilani has been appointed the Special Advisor to the CEO of Africa Health Research Organization, Dr A Yaro. Professor Gilani will be advising Dr Yaro on trainings and other charity programmes that will be of great benefit to Africans.

Innovative Biotech , Nigeria to partner AHRO

The Africa Health Research Organization is to establish a working relationship with Innovative Biotech Nigeria Ltd, a biotechnology company based in Nigeria. The 2 organizations will work towards developing better strategies for disease eradication in Africa.

The CEO of AHRO A Yaro explained that the activities of the partnership will include working on series of project that will lead to the achievement of the aims of the partners.

Medknow Publication (India ) is official AHRO publisher

Med know Publication, one of the largest publishers in India has been appointed the official publisher of AHRO’s publication: Annals of Tropical Medicine & Public Health.

The journal which will be of interest to physicians, microbiologists, epidemiologists, general practitioners, public health care workers, etc will cover topics including tropical medicine, infectious diseases, epidemiology, public health and standard of care.
